Cobra energy's lineman apprenticeship program
Cobra Energy’s Lineman Apprenticeship Program provides the opportunity to learn electrical line skills through a four-year apprentice training program to become a certified journeyman lineman. Line crews construct, repair and maintain the overhead and underground electric lines that serve our communities. Electrical line apprentices learn by working on the job with experienced line crews and classroom instruction.

your future in the linework industry
The job involves constructing and climbing poles and learning to work on energized lines and equipment. Linemen work in inclement weather and must be available for callout work to respond to emergencies. Lineman apprentices must be able to lift and maneuver up to 90 pounds and climb wooden poles up to 100 feet.
